At Wilkinsons, we have specialists in a wide range of landscaping forms and have staff dedicated to garden design & creating the perfect planting schemes for our clients. We can maximise the space and shape of your garden while taking light, shade and the changing seasons into account. Our experience and knowledge means our designs are not only creative, they are practical too.
From the early days, the success of the business was gained from employing specialists for each task. Peter subcontracted the building work to a local builder, but because of the difficulty of continuity of work and customer relations it was soon realised that it was a better option to employ the specialists within the team itself.
As demand increased and a reputation was gained for quality work, the team increased in size and experience. Michael, one of Peter’s older brothers came into partnership with him in 1988. This partnership gave Wilkinsons added strength and skills that proved to be successful and move the business forward.
Then in the early 2000s Peter’s son, Simon, joined the team and began his journey of learning the company from the ground-up, no pun intended. Working on a variety of landscaping projects, Simon was soon following in Peter’s footsteps winning landscaping design awards of his own and now heads up Wilkinsons Landscapes as Director.
