A Gardeners Garden!
The Brief
Our client wanted somewhere to garden that wasn’t over looked and to be able to access the planted areas easily. They also required the garden to be rabbit proof.
Location
A detached house in a small village near Scotch Corner.
Design and Construction
It was decided that the garden should be split up with a curved shaped stone wall which would leave the bottom area of the garden mainly lawn, whilst the top area being the ideal “gardeners garden” with lots of planting areas and access pathways. The wall provided the required privacy, shelter and rabbit proofing for the planting areas. Gravelled and stone paths added design and interest, while being practical and spiltting up the areas in a curved scheme with a gravelled seating space in a sheltered area.
