Frequently Asked Questions

What does a garden design include?

Our garden designs include a computer drawn plan and an itemised quotation.

What types of gardens do you design?

We will design any type of garden. We have been designing gardens since 1981 so we have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of landscape gardening. Whatever your requirements, you will be in good hands with Wilkinsons Landscapes.

What areas do you cover?

We operate within a 25 mile radius of our base in Stockton on Tees.

How much maintenance is involved in a designed garden?

The amount of maintenance required will depend on many factors. We are very experienced in constructing low maintenance gardens; if maintenance is paramount to your requirements, we will guide you through your options and the maintenance implications.

Do you offer garden maintenance?

We do offer seasonal garden maintenance, although we have a policy of a minimum of one days work. We will always do our best to help, whatever your requirements.

I’ve already got designs, can you work with them?

We can work with existing designs, although it is worth considering that we have award winning garden designers within our team and provide this service as part of the project.

I’ve already got materials, can you use them?

We will happily utilise any existing materials, that are appropriate for the project.

Do you do castacrete or resin bonded gravel driveways and patios?

We do not use castacrete or resin bonded gravel. Both products have many problems and we feel represent poor value. We will only use products that we know will stand the test of time, neither product will give this result in our opinion.

What are your payment terms?

We require payment within 10 days from the date of invoice.

How long will it typically take from design to completion?

Design to completion varies on every single project. We will always endeavour to carry out and complete our projects as efficiently and sensitively as possible. You are in good hands with Wilkinsons Landscapes.
