Gabion Baskets Garden Transformation

This project involved the complete transformation of a challenging, sloping garden into a clean, structured and highly usable outdoor space.

The primary objective was to resolve changes in level while creating a calm, low-maintenance garden that could be enjoyed year-round. To achieve this, we designed and constructed a series of gabion retaining walls, providing both structural integrity and excellent drainage, while introducing a strong architectural feature that anchors the space.

A porcelain paved terrace was installed at the upper level to create a generous seating and entertaining area. The paving layout and jointing were carefully detailed to keep the finish crisp and timeless, while the raised lawn below softens the scheme and introduces a natural focal point.

Planting was selected to complement the hard landscaping without overwhelming it — combining evergreen structure with seasonal interest to ensure the garden matures beautifully over time. Decorative gravel borders and precise edging complete the look, reinforcing the clean lines throughout the design.

The result is a modern, practical garden that balances durability with visual calm — a space that feels considered, robust and effortless to use.
