Front Garden Transformation

Front Garden Transformation

Project Overview

This project involved the refurbishment and enhancement of the front garden and entrance areas of an established hillside property.

The existing landscape already benefited from mature trees, established hedging and attractive views, but several areas had become tired and were beginning to show their age. The client wanted to improve access, refresh the appearance of the property and create a more cohesive frontage while retaining the character of the original garden.

The Brief

Our brief was to improve the property’s kerb appeal and accessibility while respecting the mature landscape that had developed over many years.

The works included replacing worn steps and pathways, improving retaining structures, reshaping lawn areas and creating cleaner transitions between the various levels across the front garden.

The Transformation

The project centred around the installation of new natural stone entrance steps and pathways, carefully selected to complement the property’s existing stonework and architecture.

Curved retaining walls were introduced to provide definition and structure, while new turfing created smooth flowing lawn areas that soften the hard landscaping and enhance the property’s setting.

Across the site, planting beds were refreshed and prepared to allow the existing planting scheme to continue maturing around the newly renovated landscape.

The result is a front garden that feels more unified, welcoming and in keeping with the scale and character of the property.
