Project Overview

This project involved the complete transformation of both the front and rear gardens of a residential property, replacing tired paving, overgrown planting areas and dated landscaping features with a cohesive, low-maintenance design.

The homeowners wanted to improve the appearance of their property while creating outdoor spaces that would be easier to manage throughout the year. By combining new block paving, natural stone paving, retaining walls and decorative gravel planting beds, we delivered a practical and attractive solution that enhances both the functionality and kerb appeal of the home.

The Challenge

The front garden was dominated by mature planting beds and hedging that required ongoing maintenance, while the existing driveway and pathways had become weathered and tired.

To the rear, the new sandstone patio and pathways create clear routes through the garden, while the retaining walls successfully manage the changes in level and add architectural interest. Decorative gravel beds reduce ongoing upkeep while allowing feature planting to remain a focal point of the design.

A mature existing tree was retained and incorporated into the finished layout, helping to preserve the character of the garden while complementing the new landscaping scheme.
