Woodland Garden Transformation

This woodland garden was transformed from an overgrown, difficult-to-navigate space into a calm and accessible landscape that works in harmony with its natural surroundings.

The project focused on selective clearance, opening up sightlines and improving movement through the garden while retaining its woodland character. Natural stone retaining walls were introduced to manage level changes, alongside timber-edged paths and steps that guide visitors gently through the space.

A decorative metal gazebo was installed as a central focal point, set within a circular gravel base, creating a destination within the garden and encouraging exploration. Every element was chosen to feel established, understated and appropriate for a woodland setting.

The result is a garden that feels immersive and timeless — carefully designed to enhance the environment rather than dominate it.
