Introducing “The Grafters” – Our First Annual Staff Awards

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of The Grafters – Wilkinsons’ very own staff awards programme, celebrating the grit, graft, and greatness of our incredible team.

Why “The Grafters”? Well, it’s a tip of the hat to the BAFTAs, but with a Wilkinsons twist. Because let’s face it – our team aren’t actors, they’re doers. They’re not treading red carpets, they’re treading turf, paving patios, transforming gardens, and making a real difference every day. These awards are about recognising the people who roll up their sleeves, muck in, and get the job done – the true grafters.

What Are The Grafters All About?

Each year, The Grafters will shine a spotlight on the people behind the projects – those who go the extra mile, live our values, and make Wilkinsons the company we’re proud to be part of.

We’ve built the award categories around our core values – the things that matter most to us as a team:

• Teamwork – For those who lift others up, support their mates, and work hard to keep the team spirit strong.

• Customer Service – For the faces (and voices) that leave a lasting impression on our customers.

• Cleanliness – Because taking pride in our workspaces – vans, yard, and sites – really matters.

• Productivity – For the ones who keep things moving, meet deadlines, and smash targets.

• Attendance – For reliability, consistency, and showing up even when it’s tough.

• Presentation – For taking pride in appearance, tools, and the work we leave behind.

• Project Pride – For delivering jaw-dropping results and giving every job their all.

  
  

Nominations can come from anyone – customers, colleagues, or peers – and we’ll be collecting them all year round before crowning our winners in July. There’ll be prizes for the top three in each category, and let’s just say… we’re not skimping on the reward side of things!
