Wilkinsons Landscapes Director Joins Askham Bryan College Advisory Board

Wilkinsons Landscapes Ltd is proud to announce that our Director, Simon Wilkinson, has been invited to join the industry advisory board at Askham Bryan College.

As a long-standing supporter of practical training and apprenticeships in landscaping, Simon will be working alongside the college to help ensure course content reflects real-world site experience, modern compliance standards, and the skills employers genuinely need. From RAMS and site safety to plant knowledge and client care, our aim is to help students leave college ready for the realities of the trade.

We are also delighted to share that our long-term supplier Joseph Parr – Stockton-on-Tees has kindly agreed to support Askham Bryan learners by providing materials for student projects. Their generosity will give students valuable hands-on experience with professional-grade products and help bridge the gap between classroom learning and live site work.

At Wilkinsons Landscapes, we believe strong partnerships between colleges, suppliers, and employers are essential to building a skilled and confident workforce. We’re proud to support Askham Bryan College and grateful to Joseph Parr for helping invest in the future of landscaping.
